Schuco 1:72 Scale Trucks  

Schuco are a new manufacturer in the world of 1:72 Scale road vehicles, in fact the Trucks are not made by Schuco, but by Hongwell in China (who manufacturer the Cararama range of 1:72 Scale Cars) The Detailing of the Trucks is to a very high standard with Die-Cast cab and plastic chassis, wheels and detailing parts.  Like the Cararama range these Trucks are excellent value for money.  Although these Trucks are 1:72 Scale (same as the Cararama Cars), the differences in scale between 1:72 & 1:76 are very small, thus meaning you can add these ranges of Trucks and Cars to all those Corgi and EFE Buses that we modelers have been collecting over the last decade or so.

Cararama 1:72 Scale Trucks

The range of Lorries made for Schuco (German market) by Cararama / Hongwell to go with the established 1:72 scale cars have now been released for the British market by Cararama.  The vehicles that had German Insignia / writing have been replaced by British companies / organizations (most are made-up liveries but some are real ie Shell and Knights of Old, which does exist in this livery), thus creating a better choice and selection for the British outline modelers. All vehicles are priced at £4.00 each.

 

Please Note, misprint on the packaging

There is a misprint on the Cararama packaging, the models are 1:72 Scale as are the range of cars and the Schuco distributed models,  however on the Cararama packaging 1:80 Scale is quoted we have spoken to Cararama who have acknowledged this as an error made in China.
